My name is Zhongjie Cai, and I am a master student at Department of Computer Science, Uni-Freiburg. I'm interested in computer artificial intelligence and related fields.
Formerly I was working in a game company as a project leader and program engineer, creating platform-based games for many European and American customers.
Currently I am taking the maintainership of KBlocks1 in KDE2 as the developer of the refactoried KBlocks game, providing an AI player and a Human v.s. AI game mode. The refactoried KBlocks also offers the tetris game AI researchers an open-source test platform.
1 : KBlocks is the classic falling blocks game. The idea is to stack the falling blocks to create horizontal lines without any gaps. When a line is completed it is removed, and more space is available in the play area. When there is not enough space for blocks to fall, the game is over.
